Greetings in the Name of Our Lord,

I pray you are rejoicing in the wisdom of God´s Word, the joy of His presence and the blessings of His grace.  I am thankful that the Lord chose me for His serve.

I continue to work with young people in Sunday School at church.  I feel a little sad because I have lost several that finished their studies in La Serena and returned home.  Two of my youth had to return south because their dad lost his job.  Three of my young people have changed universities because of their studies.  I am praying God will send more students into my class.  Since many come to La Serena because of the universities, I lose some sons and daughters in the Lord every year.

We are studying Revelation.  I love to teach.  I want God to use me to be a blessing and I want them to learn the Bible.  Pray for me as I teach His Word.  Pray for them as they follow His will.

Each Monday I serve with an evangelism team in a fishing village called Guanaqueros.  Several new Christians are studying the Bible in their homes with us.  A couple of months ago a young father named Flavio accepted Jesus as his Lord.  Two weeks later his wife, Evelyn gave her heart to Jesus.  They have one young son.  Pray for this dear family and many others in the little village.

One of our team members, Luis Rodriquez, is suffering with two hernias.  He can hardly walk.  He is waiting for a bed in the hospital and he has been waiting for months.  That is how the system works for people who cannot pay for private care.  Please pray that he will have surgery soon.  Pray that the Lord will guide the doctor as he repairs the hernias.       

Pray with us that the temple will soon be completed in San Pedro and turned over to the local members. Construction on the new temple continues very slowly.  Three members at the church are working one day a week.  They do not have the money to pay workers. 

I am also teaching Revelation classes to “Women on Mission” in a church member´s home.  Pray for these dedicated women as they serve God.
