The Atacama Desert – the driest desert in the world- where an inch of rain a year detonates this desolate wilderness into a kaleidoscope of wildflowers and color.
A few small Andean rivers begin their westward journey high in the snow-covered peaks. As they flow towards the vast Pacific, these rivers form narrow valleys of lush farmland, long ribbons of brilliant green that slice through the barren wilderness. It is in this harsh context that the missionaries of the Andean River Valley teams live and work, seeking to find effective ways to bring the Living Water, Jesus Christ, to those in a spiritual wasteland.
We invite you to join us. As you explore this website, please help us by praying for our work. Why not adopt a community or river valley, praying regularly for its people and their needs? Consider the possibility of coming as part of a volunteer team. Experience missions first hand. Be a part of sharing the Living Water with the people of the rugged but beautiful Andean River Valleys!
